THE JEWISH ROUTE
The Jewish footprint is spread over a large part of the in the Cinco Villas, in most case in a magnificent state of conservation like in Ejea de los Caballeros (Crown Quarter), Tauste, Luna, Luesia, Uncastillo (Barrionuevo), El Frago, Biel (Barrioverde) and Sos del Rey Católico. In all of these towns the Sephardic past of the XI and XII century can be appreciated.

ROUTE OF THE CASTLES
Sora, Sibirana, Roita, Torres Del Bayo, are some examples of the castles that can be found in the landscapes of the Cinco Villas. The legacy of great lords and kings, who fought numerous battles for our territory. We invite you to know a part of our history through the visit to these impressive buildings.

KING THE BATTLER ROUTE
The route of Alfonso I the Battler (1073 – 1134) takes us to castles, remains of defensive towers, old churches, and abandoned castles … and shows of the great military organisation that during the end of XI century and the beginning of the XII century, this great King developed for our lands. “Christianity has to be extended by forcing out Muslim people from the Cinco Villa territories” was Alfonso I the Battler‘s motto. This route departs in Biel and leads us through Villaverde, Óbano, Yéquera, Santía and the fascinating castle of Sora. The strategic position of all of them makes us understand the communication system that was carried out for centuries through these impressive constructions.

ROMANESQUE ROUTE
During this route we will know one of the most representative art style the region: The Romanesque, a style that extends throughout the territory and that has left impressive works in almost every municipality of the Comarca. We suggest you to follow the route that we detail below, bearing in mind that this guide is not exhaustive and may not include other towns also have magnificent examples of this style.

THE SCENIC ROUTE
The region of Cinco Villas has a special charm that manages to captivate the visitor both for its varied and changing landscape, and for the historical-artistic jewels that it possesses. There are many possible routes to discover them. Here is one that will lead you through the most beautiful and scenic spots you can’t miss:
